Antioxidants and the fight against autism

Antioxidants, a molecule found in substances such as ascorbic acid, glutathione, and melatonin was told to avoid a number of serious diseases like cancer and heart disease. An antioxidant is a molecule capable of slowing or preventing oxidation of other molecules. However, it is not widely known is that antioxidants could also perhaps prevent autism. That's what researchers at the University of Arkansas request, according to their study in 2005. According to their breakthrough and a somewhat controversial study, the antioxidant levels of children with autism are significantly lower compared with children without autism.

This study seems somewhat insignificant when judging the value. After all, the same can be said about a number of diseases. However, the importance of antioxidants in the body and implications of this research-is an important step in the fight against autism. But first, what are antioxidants? Why is this important substance in the human body?

Antioxidants can prevent or prolong the process of oxidation of molecules of other substances that people take in. oxidation (Reaction or reduction-oxidation), on the other hand, is a reaction where the product of free radicals. These free radicals can damage some cells in the body, causing a number of diseases and ailments. The reduction-oxidation is inevitable, to say the least, given that some substances can produce free radicals. A number of studies have shown that these free radicals are present even in the very air in the atmosphere.

So what does this have to do with autism? Oxidants can cause brain damage, in fact, the brain is very vulnerable to oxidation damage. On the other hand, antioxidants are also responsible for removing toxins from the body. With the presence of oxidants, the organization will be unable to detoxify substances harmful heavy metals present in their bodies, another suspected cause of autism. Substances Heavy metals can be found in vaccines, so that children are already exposed to harmful chemicals from the beginning. This meant effect of vaccines is disputed by many medical experts, but some sectors claim vaccines play a role in the development of autism children.

Researchers at the University of Arkansas still believe that autism is a genetic disease. However, in a interview with Forbes.com, a researcher at the university said said that autism is caused by genetics, environmental triggers play a role in the genetic basis of disease. In addition, antioxidants also prevent free radical damage to the brain. Some studies several countries have already linked brain inflammation to autism, and this inflammation can be caused by oxidants. A strengthened immune system, Thank you for antioxidants may offer protection against brain injury.

Thus, many physicians across the country, antioxidants consider as one of the most valuable in the fight against the autism. A number of professionals, too, like those of the Research Institute Autism, encourage parents to give their autistic children with foods that are rich in antioxidants and supplements that prevent oxidation in the body.

I limit the slight autism, social phobia, severe anxiety, ADHD, learning disabilities slow, sensory integration features, the features of auditory processing, and features of dyscalculia. I also receive SSI benefits and I was wondering what they can do to make sure I'm comfortable if I not intend to work. I also have shoulder problems and can not make repetitive movements or it will cause great pain and I can not stand for long periods of time or my feet are starting to really hurts. I know I can not get broad support, but also what would be the best thing for me and this work would best suit my needs? Well, I cry too easily under pressure and I can not handle a lot of work because I get also stressed very easily.

Think about the type of job you want to do rather than what you think you can do. There is Many changes / modifications available that can do your homework for you if you do not know how, at this point. For example, there are a large number of aid techniques that can help find other ways to accomplish a task job that normally would require repetitive motion.

Enable Disable

One of the additional forces that create racial discrimination is disability. It is estimated that 20.8% of the community African-American who was said to be in some form of disability, higher than the overall failure rate of 19.4% in the countries. The involvement may be either one of physical or mental.

The Social Security Act defines disability as "inability to adopt a substantial gainful activity by reason of medically determinable physical impairment or mental condition that can be expected to cause death or has lasted or can be expected to last for a continuous period of at least 12 months. "

While the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defines disability as one with:

a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or several of the major life activities of an individual

a record of such impairment

be considered as having such an impairment

The U.S. Department of Education, disability includes all the features following:

Autism

Deafblindness

Deafness

Emotional disturbance

Hearing Impairments

Mental Retardation

Multiple disabilities

deficiency orthopedic

Specific Learning Disabilities

Trouble speaking or language

Head Injury

Visual Impairments

More than a decade ago, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits "private employers, state and local employment agencies and unions to discriminate against qualified disabled persons in procedures for application for employment, hiring, firing, advancement, compensation, training, or in terms, conditions and privileges of employment. "

In addition, the U.S. government requires that agencies and organizations to provide government funding of accessibility programs and services.

A person under 65 can claim social benefits in the form of disability security. After this age, it will take the form of retirement benefits the same amount.

The Social Security Administration pays benefits disability under the following programs:

The program of the Social Security Disability Insurance – This program provides benefits to you and certain family members if you worked long enough and paid Social Security disability taxes. If your child has begun before age 22, he / she may be eligible for benefits on your earnings record.

The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) – This program pays benefits to disabled adults and children who have limited income and resources. One can only imagine the complexity and hassle of the person Deposit Social Security Disability. And even if you were able to do by yourself, the more likely thing that could happen is that your application is denied.

Activities autistic

Reflective activities are severe in children between autism. No matter what the skill level there a reflective activity more than likely for every child. It can sometimes be difficult to spinrt thinking activity, but it is possible. Activities autistic

reflection activities are designed to help children think about what happened to them and why. They are designed to show what the child has learned. It can be done by a writing activity, a verbal activity, or even showing an activity that has past.

If you have already seen children younger acting on something that happened during the day, which is an activity reflection. Some children talk and talk and talk. If you listen to what they say repeatedly, you will find that this happened during their day. Autism Activities

A child with autism can and should be the same thing. Some of our autistic children can talk. The conversation can not be completely clear and perhaps even one word, but it pays to listen. He pays even talk back to this subject.

Children with high and low verbal skills can enjoy the opportunity to hear and repeat add to what they say. Some autistic children will even begin to repeat what you've cleverly added to the conversation and internalize it. Autism Activities

Using reflection activities should be more structured for kids with autism. Typical children and adults do naturally, without even a name for it. We may need to take children with autism to talk about their day. They could even make their day as a reflexive activity. Do not let your love the most suffer! What is the difference between mental retardation and autism low?

Here is the definition of autism: a psychiatric hospital disorder of childhood characterized by marked deficits in communication and social interaction, preoccupation with fantasy disorders language, and abnormal behavior, such as repetitive acts and excessive attachment to certain objects. It is usually associated with impaired intellectual. Here is the definition of mental retardation: Below the average level of intellectual property operation, generally defined by an IQ at 70-75 years, combined with limitations in the skills necessary for everyday life. daily living skills include such things as communication, the ability to take care of yourself, and work capacity. Although both can be very mentally disabled, the fascination with objects or repetitive behaviors seems to be the difference. In fact, there is a category for high-functioning autistic children, but generally low operating time is replaced by moderate to severe autism. I work with a child with severe autism. It can not communicate with the world unless you drag what he wants. However, even if it can not communicate or learn very well, he is tricky to understand things. For example, once he was watching a DVD and I started to sing the song that was on. He immediately seized the remote and the sound processing. Another difference between the autistic and the severely mentally retarded people are the eyes. Disabled often mentally dull eyes and a disinterest in the world. They can sit and do nothing and everything will be fine. Most autistic people will still desire and stimulation may be more difficult to manage because of their needs constantly. When we're out to people with severe mental retardation, we see sometimes hand flapping, self-injurious behavior and repetitive behaviors. Many times these behaviors are handled the same way you manage the behavior of people with severe autism. Remember that self-mutilation is a behavior more attempt to communicate more. seriously Children with autism show some delay because they are trapped in a world they can not access. Imagine if you had fallen in the middle of China and could not learn the language or culture. This is what it means to be autistic. People with mental retardation can not even recognize they are in a different culture.
