Can Autism

A child may have autism and still be social?
I read about autism and Asperger syndrome lot these days because we have some concerns about our son four years old. It adapts to the characteristics of Asperger syndrome, except for one thing, children with Asperger are generally known to be very anti-social. Our son is the child the more social than we've ever seen. In fact, We receive comments all the time about how he is outgoing and social. So my question is, a child may have an autism spectrum disorder and more social?
It reminds me of the fact that, apparently, an autistic child is unable to make and maintain eye contact, something that is totally false. As knowledge and begin to better understand autism spectrum disorders many of these long-standing beliefs that were set in stone are revealed false. Many children with ASD seem to be very sociable but once you look a little more you will notice they have subtle differences in their modes of socialization. Many people watch and then copy the way they behaved, others speak directly to you, but you wait not respond. Others become a different person that they feel confident and be who does not even blow ups what they do. There no two people with ASD are always the same and even when they are interacting with others. For the moment we do not know much about autism so that each case must be examined individually. My own daughter is profoundly autistic but can not exceed current and sociable person he is, but this is a facade for her to hide behind. Like you, I get comments all the time people who say it can not be autistic because is output and can maintain eye contact. If you're worried about your son bring it to have an assessment with a good clinical psychologist. Good luck.
