pain medication during labor?
I am currently in the medical field, but not in the portion including labor and delivery. I'm pregnant and I recently read an article some recent research showing that mothers who have pain medicine during labor increase the chances of autism. I know that the whole vaccine theory is a myth and is simply not true but wanted to know experiences someone else has had this aspect. Thank you for your help!
As someone in the medical profession, I am sure you know that many Many studies are done with the intention of proving something and therefore have an agenda. I would not worry about a study, especially if it was small. I have 3 children and had pain medication with each of them, as did all the women in my family, and not one of them has autism. I realize that I am also giving you a small number of people, but I really want to study air and if other have been made. Take ariticle to your OB and see if they have an opinion, as well. Good luck.
