Autism Levels
What is the best site for education materials for child-level prek? (Autism low level)?
It operates around a 18MB – 2 year level. I ordered a catalog of Lakeshore, but I want to make as many supplies as possible (such as card printing on the computer.) Any other ideas? I do not want to "Print card", as in the cards for printing. I meant that I could use my computer to print my own flash cards. Great site! I enjoy looking through all of them!
I'm not sure what you mean by printing the cards "- do you mean to write? If they try, http://www.abcteach.com/directory/basics/handwriting/ If it works at this level, it would be more useful to work on communication skills such as verbalization or speech, if possible, or learning evidence base. It is probably a visual learner, so you would probably do well to find cards with images of real objects / people on them. Ask the teacher for suggestions. If it is not in school, contact your local school system as soon as possible and obtain placed right away – she must receive early intervention services, including speech therapy and occupational therapy.
