How are you gluten free?

My Bubby (2.5 years) only eat yogurt, applesauce, cereal and peanut butter. I think he has a milk allergy when he was only drink rice milk now (her eczema, runny nose is gone!) It is being evaluated for autism. I heard about the wonders of gluten-free diet, but I do not know if the current regime of gluten replacing that he is since he suuuchh a picky eater. Help!

There are different theories on whether the gluten-free diet / Caesin works free for children with autism, but I have heard that it does not work and this is certainly nothing to try. It is a great sites www.gfcfdiet.com called is taken into account this situation. I do not eat GF, caesin not free, and I do not eat it bc of celiac disease, not autism. But here are my suggestions: Try these books and sites and you learn a ton! "Living wheat and gluten for Dummies" by Danna Korn Gluten-Free Gourmet "(cookbook) by Bette Hagman www.csaceliacs.org www.celiac.com www.celiac.org www.celiaccentral.org (these sites are supported to celiac disease, but u will find tons of info on life GF) Try Yahoo Health Group "SillyYaks" and "Foodallergynetwork" for personal support, recipes and ideas. My favorite Toddlers friends, food companies GF: Glutino cereals (such as those who like Cheerios), breads, cookies, cake mixes, etc. All I tried them was good. Pamela Products: cakes, cookies and baking mixes. She also has premade cookies. 'S Red Bob Mill: Flour and baking mixes Kinninnick: frozen goods such as bread, bagels, donuts, etc. (Frozen Foods are expensive to ship, so try to buy these int he store as your local health food store and Whole Foods) Whole Foods GF line has great Tinkyada pasta cookies are very good even ppl who cannot eat gluten that they are GF so that your child used to power! Please, if diagnosed autism, find a local support group with more personalized. Try sites like www.autismspeaks.org Good luck and best wishes!
