Do you think it is possible that antidepressants may cause autism?
I wonder if the fact that I chose to take antidepressants while I was pregnant with my youngest son caused his autism. I did not take my eldest son who has not autism. I do not think anyone has done studies on this subject. I was told it would not hurt my baby except maybe him how cranky the withdrawal of the first three days did not happen.
I think the chances of them being related are slim and none, so if please stop brow beating you. According to statistics, a staggering 157 births in the U.S. now following the autism, and there no two cases are alike. Autism was virtually unknown 20 years ago, but the latest theory is that autism is somehow related to the environment (With local sources of tap water is suspect), with children wearing his '40 's.
