Autism Epidemic

Your toddler diagnosed with autism?
Autism, high functioning autism, Asperger syndrome, pervasive Development of non-specific (PDD-NOS) autism spectrum diagnosis your child has received?
I understand that this is a moment very worried for you. You've found your child has autism, a developmental disability who, until recently, you've never heard of. I also know, work with families, who like many other parents that you felt something was wrong when he / she was much younger. But nobody wanted listen to you. The doctors have said you were too impatient, it was too early to say, wait and see. Well you've waited, and it how it turned out!
Back in 2003 Bachelder Ned, the father of an autistic son wrote this: "I will not pretend to that having an autistic child is a wonderful experience, life-affirming, that every day is a new beginning, it makes me more alive. Overall it is a weary, grinding, frustrating experience. It means constantly reassessing the possibilities (general) lower expectations, and planning for the worst.
I hope he does not have to be like this for much longer. Autism is diagnosed earlier today, thanks to public awareness by parents as Ned and charities set up amazing fight for the cause. There can be no consolation to you, however, have to be a statistic of 1110 children with autism spectrum disorder. Especially when scientists seem closer to finding a cure.
Now you have your diagnosis, you have the answer to your question "what is wrong with my child." If not now, then very soon you will probably ask "What can I do?"
