Autism Divorce Statistics

Five positive / negative experiences of children today compared to 1995-1999?

I need some ideas for my child psychology class development. The prompt is: "List at least five children between positive six and ten years of experience now compared to when you were there age. "And then five negatives too. I six years in 1995 … what has changed since then? I have a little, but need a couple more:-a more advanced technology that can be used positive for education, a better understanding of disability such as autism, a better understanding of the importance of nutrition. The more negative- negativity, violence and sex in the media, the highest rate of obesity among children, more children born outside marriage more focus on standardized tests / less time to "be a" child, the divorce rate is higher (have not found the statistics of it still). Thank you for your help! :)

I noticed that the children of this age group are now very addicted to technology compared to when I was that age. With my younger brothers and sisters, it is sometimes a battle to get them to play just outside. I remember that kick a ball boy playing with the neighborhood kids, or hide and seek. Now, a mini-days are content being on the computer or playing video games all day. So I think that standards in school learning levels decreased. Children should not learn much, or put as much effort as when I was that age. Hope this helps some
