Autism Diet Book

autism diet book
Have you tried any of the GFCF (gluten free casein free) diet for your child autistic?

I read the book Jenny McCarthy Autism and mentioned help heal his son through the GFCF diet. I wonder if anyone has tried this with their own children with autism and if you saw an improvement? My son has been diagnosed with autism, but has a speech delay and work with early intervention. Of course I'm worried about autism because of speech delay and ready to try anything …. even if this scheme can help improve his speech! For further information thank you for or against this idea of the GFCF diet!

I am not a child autistic, got celiac disease and allergy to milk and my brother is autistic. I tried for a very long time to get tested for intolerance gluten, but my parents refuse. They believe he has brain damage resulting from prenatal problems and difficult birth. This is really frustrating because I had a ton of symptoms and when I went gluten free, they just disappeared. It has many symptoms of celiac disease: seizures, sores, obsessive compulsive disorder, dermatitis herpetiformis, etc. I truly believe that the gluten-free diet may help, but I no legal power over him and I'm not even sure they believe that I have celiac disease. I have done much research on the subject and I think personally that autism is not treatable with a gluten free / casein free diet, but it is caused by an intolerance to gluten in mother. The reason that the gluten-free diet is beneficial because so many autistic children have celiac disease or gluten intolerance in addition to their autism. I got the diagnosis, after I had my child and she was born with physical deformities. If you look at the research, birth defects, including Autism is more common among children whose mothers have intolerance to gluten. Personally, my symptoms with celiac disease were mental changes, mood swings, ADHD, depression, anxiety, major mood swings, etc. When I went gluten free, it was like three days that my mental problems just stopped. I literally never more anxiety, and it was really bad. If you a Google search for "schizophrenia gluten, you find studies where they found a very large percentage have some form of intolerance to gluten. Even among the general population, about 1 in 7 people with gluten intolerance. In my opinion, the gluten is great, but milk is not good either. Most of the world population are lactose intolerant. It is a very common food allergen. Much people have asthma, acne, migraines following dairy allergy. So, do I believe that gluten is linked to autism, Yes. What I think this will help? Yes, normally. Do I believe it is a cure for autism? No, because I think brain damage from exposure to maternal antibodies. But genetically, the child is more likely to have an intolerance to gluten and intolerance to gluten can have a large number of events. These events can be reversed with the regime. Now about your son, how Is he behind? Did they rule out other causes? I know many children who had delays in speech and it turned out to be nothing. My husband did not speak until he was 3 and a half and then he just started talking in complete sentences. Your child is exposed more than one language? This will delay his speech. If the thing I call the only symptom he has, I would not necessarily think of autism. I on promoting the GF diet cf / because I think it's the best diet for everyone. Many people are intolerant or allergic to these foods and they also have effects of opioids such as your body, even if you are not allergic to them, they promote weight gain (they want you to more and more of them). I think you should eat this way because it is healthy, and it's not going to hurt anything. I do not know if you can not really help your son to his speech well. Anyway, let me know if you have any questions regarding the development of your son or food. I can give you some recipe ideas if you want!
