What are some of the best sensory activities / products for children with autism?
This question is for parents of children autism and autism professionals. I am looking to offer a very good sensory diet for my 3 year old daughter, who has autism. Therapy catalogs are full of expensive products. Which have you found to be the best?
Hi there! My son is older and has 3yrd asd, disorders autism spectrum. I have several things for him, I have a large element of Tupperware filled with beans (uncooked) and I hide the farm animals in their way he put his hands in the beans to find the animals I also have rice. Yes they can make a mess, but its fun foam bath as Wal-Mart put some on a paper plate or a mat and let them hand it to paint with. I also have a book where I do things is a book that professionals in the use here TEACHH NC. If you want to name it, write me! There are many things I do with him, plasticine, noodels cooked in a container (the latter, we are working on yet, lol) theres a lot of things you can do around the house and do! email me at fatbottomfaerie@yahoo.com We can help and support each other.
