Autism And Gluten

I would really appreciate if someone can help me with recipes for gluten free and casein free diet?
My son has autism … Ive tried everything else and do not know where to start but I'm not going to quit. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Hi Sheri I found this site, the recipes below come from there. Take a look at it, there are many recipes there. There is a forum you can join the blog, perhaps find more ideas and help other parents in the same situation. I hope this helps as a starting point, hang there and take care! http://gfcfrecipes.blogspot.com/ GFCF Breakfast cereal bars This recipe is so great. On the one hand, I love these and eat them for a quick breakfast on the go. And the recipe really worked as I had hoped. I should have guessed thought, one of my children could eat. Oh well. That's how these things happen. This is a recipe for a cereal bar which is very healthy. I found a recipe on the Web, it has changed for GFCF, and added some things of my own. Here's how: 1 / 2 cup honey (or other 1 / 2 cup butter) syrup (I used butter once more sunflower seeds) 1 / 3 cup brown sugar 3 cups gluten-free cereal Rice Krispies (I used Barbaras) 1 / 3 cup raisins (dates would work too) 2 Tbsp tablespoons sunflower seeds (optional) 1-2 c. soup of ground flaxseed (I used golden flax) Grease a 13×9 cake pan – I used organic shortening of the spectrum. In a saucepan, heat honey, nut butter and sugar to a boil. Stir over medium heat several minutes. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Dump in the greased pan and use a spatula to press down. Cool. After 30 minutes, use a knife or pizza cutter to cut into squares. Bread recipes • cooking recipes basis • Breakfast • Main dishes • Restaurant Guide – GFCF • Dishes • Vegetables • Desserts & Sweets Bread: Preheat oven to 400. 1 / 2 cup of sorghum or mix brown rice flour, 2 / 3 cup tapioca flour, 2 c. teaspoon xanthan gum, 2 v. Tea baking powder, 1 tsp teaspoon salt, 1 / 2 c. chopped oregano (or other spice) 1 tsp tablespoon sugar. Then add 1 / 3 cup oil, 1 / 3 cup of milk in (as Darifree), and 1 / 2 cup water. Beat and mix well. Now, using a ladle or 1 / 4 measuring cup to pour in the circular bun-parts companies. separate them as much as possible. You can create forms regular bread or as mini-hoagie or hot Forms bread dog. They are not perfect and I'm sure you could buy forms to make them better. Anyway, then I take a wet spatula and press slightly on each, with one or two dark, flatten each a few. Then bake for 20 minutes. GFCF Ingredients potato gratin potatoes, peeled minced and dairy free margarine or ghee – I used Spectrum shortening sea salt Black pepper GF tapioca flour (I think the starch potato potatoes, corn starch is too much work) GF chickpea flour (I think the potato flour, rice flour, etc. would be too much work – everything is a flour thin, non-grainy) garlic powder milk without milk – I used DariFree Vance. Water corn starch (I think or potato starch, tapioca would be too much work) I use a crock pot great, so adjust if yours is smaller. But, I started by peeling and cutting potatoes. I made two medium sized potatoes at once. Then I layer the sliced potatoes on both the bottom of the pot Crok. Then, I sprinkled a dash of salt and a pinch pepper on top of the layer. I then sprinkled 1 tsp tablespoon tapioca flour on the bed, and 1 tablespoon tablespoons of chickpea flour on the couch. Then I plop about 4 blocks some reduction (or margarine) in different places over the layer – they were about 1 / 2 c. tea each. So, I repeat this process by adding another layer of potatoes on top – about two potatoes. Then, seasoning, flour and shortening. I done with about 4-5 layers potatoes. Once finished, I poured a cup of milk DariFree on top and then a cup of water on top. I turned the slow cooker setting high and let it go for four hours. After two hours, I turned on the top layer of potatoes to ensure they do drying out. I did it again after the 3rd hour. After the third hour, I taste test. I found the taste DariFree was coming through too much and not enough seasoning I put in. So I added another dose of salt and pepper and a couple of strokes garlic powder. You can skip this option if you do not like garlic. Just flavor but not overwhelming.
