ANA with a titer 1:80 for a four year … Lupus?
My son has a variety of things that are a concern. Autism brain injury, the unknown syndrome, anemia, swollowing problems … ect … It is really rare for a young Childs positive ANA? If Please help me find what may be ahead for us .. And thank you he was also diagnosed with Raynaud's.
understnading of my ANA testing is that it is one factor in determining whether or not it was lupus. someone might have a positive ANA and not have lupus, and have a negative ANA has spread anyway. so that a positive ANA is just a test. In general, it is considered in conjunction with the list of 11 classic symptoms of lupus (see the site LFA) to make a positive diagnosis. Lupus is difficult to diagnose (unless you have all the symptoms * *) (which I did, but it was 1992 before there was any awareness of lupus publicicly, medically and not much either). I would describe as Raynaud a symptom of lupus. and anemia too. I also want to look for inflammation and rashes. Poor fella, sounds as if he had hands full (and you too). I heard that gluten-free diet can do wonders for people with autism and lupus. I have been gluten-free before (fall the car) and it was indeed very effective (and I watched a lot – a beautiful skin, hair and 20 pounds lighter) warm wishes http://www.thesingingpatient.com Carla
