14 Month Old Autism

I need help with my almost 14 months … PLEASE!?
I have a son who will be 14 months on the first of June and it is the joy of my life, but parenting is not as easy as I thought it would be. When my husband and I became parents, we have been surprised at how natural we all came, but now that I am more confident, I feel like I'm not doing the right things. I also discovered a new meaning the term paranoia … I worry quite a bit more than me. Anyway, on the issues. My son is very intelligent, I am surprised he knows so much at such a young age. It also has a sleep problem … He never sleeps. It can be dead tired, sleep for an hour and then for 12 hours straight. It will not also sleep in his bed and was in "the big bed with mum and dad" since October 07 '. One question I have is how to get him back in bed and on a schedule and what someone might think of autism. If Please tell me that someone has / through the same things I am.
Your son needs to be on a healthy sleep schedule. It IS missing sleep that you describe. I highly recommend a book call healthy sleep habits happy children, by Marc Wiessbluth (my spelling may be slightly oblique). It has practical and easy to follow instructions on how to help your child get into a healthy sleep routine and nap. This book was a real life saver for my family. God bless you! By the way, it does not seem like your son has autism at all. Children with autism do not close relationships / attachments with other people … Your son cries for your attention and wants to be near you, quite the opposite of what autistic children do.
